In the spirit of Spring, I thought I'd dig out something a bit seasonal! I did this little painting in 2007 when I lived in the beautiful Scottish Borders and there were lambs aplenty to draw. I miss that aspect of country life, in the city you miss out on all those gorgeous seasonal changes in the landscape like lambs appearing in the spring and fields being harvested in the autumn.
Today though it is unseasonably chilly and windy and I feel very sorry for all the little lambs braving this weather - what a shock to the system that must be!
